Establishing an RDP Connection

Linux

For RDP connections, you can pick from these clients:

• Remmina
• KRDS
• Freerdp2-x11

Among them, only freerdp2-x11 supports multiple monitors.
 

To connect with multiple monitors via RDP:
 

Installing freerdp2-x11 in DaDesktop Private Node (ddpn)

sudo apt install freerdp2-x11

Connecting to Work Desktop

xfreerdp /multimon /u:dadesktop/v:zh4cn.npg.io:16666

To Quit session

CTRL+ALT+Enter

or

Windows Start Menu > Log Off -> Disconnect

 

Sound and microphone redirections

xfreerdp /multimon /u:dadesktop/v:zh4cn.npg.io:16666  /microphone:sys:alsa  /sound:sys:alsa
