Privacy Policy

DaDesktop takes the privacy of anyone who uses our services seriously. This document sets out how we gather and handle your personal information, along with the steps we take to keep your details safe.

We only gather and use personal information when it is genuinely needed to deliver our services to you, or for the lawful reasons described in this policy. One crucial thing to bear in mind is that the way data is collected and stored varies considerably depending on which hosting option you go for.

NobleProg hosted public server

This sits inside a NobleProg data centre (within the EU – GDPR compliant). It is a shared environment for NobleProg customers and can be accessed by NobleProg.

If you pick a server based outside the EU, local regulations might apply. Data for customers in the UK stays within the UK.

NobleProg hosted private server

This sits inside a NobleProg data centre (within the EU). It is a dedicated server for a single organisation, and no other organisation will use that hardware.

If you pick a server based outside the EU, local regulations might apply.

On premise server

The server will sit on the organisation’s own site. The software is put onto the server, and all data stays entirely under that organisation’s control.

  • We gather this information because it is essential to give you access to our services and to keep those services secure.
  • We might use your details to get in touch with you about your account.

  • You can close your account whenever you like, and if you do, we take out your account data.

Training Room Data (including cloud desktop activity and chat function)

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • Everything that happens inside the Training Room might be watched by the course teacher, training management, and our tech support team.
  • We offer this oversight so we can assign the right data resources, you can receive help with issues, the teacher and management can follow course progress, and so we can check that the Terms of Service are being followed.
  • The rules of use stop people from doing any personal tasks, like checking social media, handling money matters, or doing personal online searches.
  • The data is removed after the course has been marked as ‘finished’.

  • All data gathered and stored is looked after by the client.

  • NobleProg has no access.

Video / Audio Data

Shared server

Private server

On-premise server

  • DaDesktop can come with a built-in audio/video tool.
  • This tool works through NobleProg’s own setup (not some outside software).
  • Course Desktops (Fresh-start, Trainer, and Participants) might be recorded to sort out problems. No audio data is recorded. These recordings are wiped out 14 days after the course wraps up. Only NobleProg staff with SuperAdmin rights can look at these recordings.
  • All data gathered or stored is looked after by the client.
  • Course Desktops and Recordings might (if needed) be recorded for fixing issues and other reasons (see Shared Server). These recordings are the client’s responsibility, and because of the auto-delete process, they are automatically removed after 14 days.
  • No data is gathered or stored.
  • NobleProg has no access.

Record Feature

On-premise server

  • Clients can choose to record the course desktop.

  • If the account is closed, all relevant recordings are deleted.

  • Clients can choose to record the course desktop.
  • All data gathered or stored is looked after by the client.
  • NobleProg has no access.

Technical Support

If you reach out to us for technical support, you have to give us some personal details that might cover your name, your workplace, email address, phone number, time zone, and the reason you need help. We use the support details to help fix your issue and to better grasp the kinds of problems our users run into. All technical support is given within NobleProg.
