Creating from a Standalone Desktop

1. Navigate to the course you've set up — a Demo course is shown below. Then switch to the Desktops tab, click the down arrow, and select "Create from Standalone" to generate your Fresh Start.

   

2. Select the standalone desktop you previously worked on for the course environment (including software, course materials, quizzes, etc.).

3. During this process, you may adjust the memory, CPU, and disk size if needed.  Click "Create desktop".

   

4.  Now the Fresh Start is ready. Both trainers and participants can clone desktops from it. 
   
   The Fresh Start is a course desktop that enables cloning for all participants and the trainer at once. If needed, anyone in the course can restore from the Fresh Start.
   
   From the 'Cog' menu, you'll find several additional options: cloning your Fresh Start to a trainer, participant, or standalone machine, as well as cloning and resizing to a standalone. Other features include moving the Fresh Start to a different server, making Snapshots, checking Recordings, or Setting up a Remote Replica.
