Hitting a wall with apostrophes, quotation marks, or inverted commas on DaDesktop?

It's a pesky glitch that surfaces only from time to time, depending on your physical keyboard, language layout, and internationalisation settings.

This is a Windows only Issue

To resolve it, follow these steps:

1. From the Windows search bar, key in 'Settings'
2. Select 'Time & Language'
3. On the left, click the language menu item
4. Under 'Preferred Languages', choose your preferred language, and then 'Options'
5. Next, hit 'Add a keyboard' and pick the layout that matches your keyboard, such as the US layout
6. Get rid of the old keyboard layouts by clicking on each one and then 'Remove'
7. Test by entering single quotes, like ' ' ', quotation marks such as ' " ', and the inverted quote mark `
