Challenges with Fresh Start cloning and how to resolve them

The majority of apps run perfectly on a Fresh Start machine in DaDesktop (DD). However, a couple of them behave oddly after cloning, requiring a handful of extra steps to get back to normal.

Oracle Database Server - Requires updating the hostname from the duplicated value to 127.0.0.1
Hyper-V server - When cloning from the Fresh Start machine, Hyper-V encounters duplicate MAC addresses if the External switch is turned on.
Google Chrome - Chrome might fail to launch properly on cloned machines because of a profile tied to the Fresh Start machine, especially if that machine wasn't fully shut down during the cloning process.
WSL - Windows System for Linux - Our tests revealed that DaDesktop machines with WSL installed aren't portable: moving a machine with WSL to a different DD server prevents it from booting successfully. The cause is unclear, but it seems Windows makes hardware assumptions during installation, and shifting to new hardware causes trouble. Since WSL is seldom used for training (Linux is typically run directly), we haven't dug deeper into this yet.
Issues where a trial software licence uses the MAC address to track the licence - Here, the licence was tied to a MAC address, and after cloning, it seemed as though the licence was already activated and used up.
Software requiring licences may need to be installed after Fresh Start has been cloned.

Additional potential troubles with DaDesktop

Very slow Virtualbox seen when using Hyper-V and VirtualBox (This occurs not only when using DaDesktop)

Problem: VirtualBox runs painfully slow on Windows, making it nearly impossible to teach a course, but the fix is extremely straightforward:-

Solution 2: Ensure you apply the Hyper-V Server workaround mentioned earlier; otherwise, duplicate MAC addresses will lead to sluggish performance, slow booting, and other unpredictable behavior.
Unable to type certain characters ie Apostrophes / Quotation Marks, Inverted Commas, within a DaDesktop machine.
