Setting Up Organizations
Typically, an Organization gets set up automatically at registration, mirroring your username.
Yet, there are times when creating a separate Organization makes sense—like under a company name—especially if several users from the same company access DaDesktop.
Important: Only a Super Admin can create an Organization.

Setting Up Organizations in DaDesktop
Two methods exist for creating an Organization: the default approach generates an organization owner account simultaneously, while the alternative skips this step when an owner account already exists.
Creating an Organization Alongside Its Owner Account
- You'll need the account owner's email, password, and first and last names. Assign roles as needed. Currency is set based on the portal: dadesktop.com defaults to EUR, while dadesktop.cn uses CNY.
- You must also provide an Organization name and a code. Keep the code brief, but remember it's permanent once saved.
- The Allowing course recordings and publishing controls apply to every recording in the organization. Similarly, the Receiving Promotional Emails preference is set at the organization level.
- The 'Allow Recordings' toggle governs the availability of Recordings for the entire organization.
- You can choose Private servers if needed. Note that a server must be flagged as 'Private' before it appears as an option.
