Deploying DaDesktop On-premise (ddOP)
Hardware Requirements
| CPU |
Compatible with AMD64 architecture Our testing shows the minimum viable processor is the Intel Xeon E5-2600v2 series or a more recent model. For optimal performance, we recommend using an Intel Xeon E5-2600v3, AMD Zen2, or a newer generation. While there's no theoretical ceiling on core count, having fewer than 4 cores will noticeably impact speed. Your CPU must support Intel VT-d or the AMD counterpart, and you'll need to confirm it's activated in the BIOS. |
|---|---|
| Memory |
At least 32 GB of DDR4 memory or a later type. Though the bare minimum isn't strictly defined, the system's base footprint hovers around 4 GB. |
| Disk |
An SSD or NVMe drive with at least 64 GB of space. For redundancy, it's best to have two physical drives configured in a mirror (RAID 1) setup. |
Software Requirements
Use Ubuntu 22.04 (or a later version). Debian 11 and newer releases are also compatible, though they undergo fewer tests.
